Tool changer. Game changer. The H3C is Bambu Lab's first nine-tool machine — nine independent filament paths, each with its own heater and nozzle, all loaded and preheated at once. Switching materials takes as little as 6 seconds instead of a retract-and-purge cycle, with purge waste down to about 0.038 g per swap.

• 9-material printing — nine PrintTools, nine dedicated paths, minimal purge per swap.
• Swaptek™ 6-second switching — tools stay docked, loaded and pre-heated; Active Pre-Heat warms the next nozzle while the current one is still printing. Tool change itself takes 3.4 s.
• FlexFeed extruder — prints TPU as soft as 75A at up to 3× the flow rate, supporting both 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm filament.
• Mixed nozzle sizes in one print — 0.2 mm for fine detail, 0.4 mm for structure, a dedicated TPU nozzle for flexibles, each at its own layer height.
• Mega build volume — 330 × 320 × 325 mm.
• AMS 3H included — fully enclosed 9-slot filament storage and feeding, with a built-in 2-slot dryer reaching 85°C for PA, PET, PC and CF-filled materials. Auto filament loading across all nine paths.
• Expandable to 24 spools — connect existing AMS units through PrintTool No. 1.
• 350°C hardened steel nozzles and active dual-zone chamber heating to 65°C — ABS, PC, PA-CF, PET-CF and other engineering materials.
• Faster motion — toolhead and X-axis 40% lighter than H2D; 25,000 mm/s² acceleration, travel to 1,400 mm/s.
• Cross-flow cooling — four cooling layers for clean overhangs and bridges at speed.
• Full-auto calibration — tool docking, offset compensation and bed levelling before every print.
• AI monitoring + new HMS with MiniWiki — diagnoses the actual cause and walks you through the fix on the printer's own screen.
• Retractable rack — slides out of view so you can watch the chamber.

Beyond printing (optional)

Swaptek also takes CraftTools — CutTool, DrawTool, DebossTool and more — which mount the same way and switch automatically. Print, cut, draw and deboss in one job, hands off. CraftTools are sold separately.
